The Body Shop has launched their Eco-Conscious Range. It attracts me so much. As you know I’m addicted to anything eco-friendly. They produce biodegradable hair care products and shower gels! The shower gels named ‘Earth Lovers’, while the hair care called ‘Rainforest’.
From the first time I read about the range, I’ve been so excited. When finally it arrived in Indonesia, I went to the nearest The Body Shop’s store and the first product I tried is Rainforest Shine Shampoo & Conditioner because there are only 2 variants available at that moment: Shine (for adding shine to your hair) & Moisture (for dry hair).
I used The Body Shop’s Olive Shampoo in 2010, and I like it. So give olive another chance to take care of my hair via Rainforest Shine. Actually it’s okay, but my hair is oily, so I prefer the Balance one, that created specifically for oily hair.I purchased it on December 1st.
Okay, to be quick, here’s the sneak peek of Rainforest Balance Shampoo taken from TBS UK’s website:

It is respectful to the aquatic environment, meets strict biodegradability standards, and minimises the use of non-sustainable packaging resources. We’re working hard to help protect our planet. Together we can make a difference.
how to use:
Mix a small amount in the hands with water to create lather. Massage into the scalp and rinse thoroughly. Follow with Balance Conditioner.
That’s the commercial claims. What about its effect in real life?
After shampoo-ing with this shampoo, my hair is in good condition! Soft, light, clean, and happy. But in total, I’m more in love with L’Occitane’s Soothing Shampoo that I reviewed 3 months ago, because it also soothes my scalp and smells sweet. In my opinion, Rainforest Balance Shampoo has fresh pleasant scent, but less sweet, that’s why it’s a minus for me. My nose is just…very picky. :P
The plus of TBS one is…the price. :)) It’s 99.000 IDR.
Thank you, TBS, for another good product! :)
*bloop, bloop, do you see a pretty mermaid there and me diving along? I actually have some kind of phobia with sea-deep situation. It just scares me. Maybe because you aren’t stand on anything when you dive! Plus, it’s dark down there! O_o
